Challenge
Occasionally we are approached to work on projects outside of digital commerce. As a specialist agency, these are usually turned down, however we jumped at the opportunity to work with a long-standing partner in Bullion Productions on its portfolio site.

Strategy & Approach
The project put us outside of our comfort zone with no physical products to sell, however our approach was no different to that which we take for digital commerce. Understanding who Bullion's clients were and what they want from the experience was critical in our thinking. Through the research phase there were several key types of visitors all trying to access the work but through different paths, which help to form the navigation and filtering systems.
Final Experience
Awwwards winning "Site of The Day", "Mobile Excellence Award" and "Developer Award" are all testament to the work that went into this project. The site has received incredible accolades and compliments but most of all we are proud to have delivered a highly creative website that is helping Bullion Productions win more work. Browsing the work is fun, engaging and interactive without interrupting the viewing experience. Working with so much video content is always a challenge but the site is performant across mobile and desktop devices.

Bullion, as a collective, wanted to champion its directors, and challenged us for a creative concept that facilitated this. The interactive 3D scrollable director list, accessible from the navigation, took inspiration from the old iOs countdown interface.

The modern headless technology stack integrates with Prismic CMS, which allows Bullion to quickly upload its work, create private links for unreleased projects and manage the site without any support.
